A WEE MURDER IN MY SHOP by Fran Stewart

The setting for my Lilia Loverly cozy mystery series is Vermont. So, when I ran across the ScotShop Mystery series by Fran Stewart, also set in the Green Mountain State, and coupled with a Scottish theme, it was a definite must-read for me.

Peggy Winn, the owner of the ScotShop, goes to the Scottish Highlands on a hunt for authentic wares. She can’t resist an old tartan shawl, but when she wraps it around her shoulders, Peggy discovers she’s acquired more than she bargained for—the specter of a fourteenth-century Scotsman.

Returning home to the tourist town of Hamelin, Vermont, she finds the body of her ex-boyfriend on the floor of her shop. Worse yet, Peggy’s cousin is arrested for the murder. Peggy along with her haunting Scotsman have to help solve the crime before anyone else gets kilt.
