News and Notes:
Informed the group to email Sherry and Leslie if they need to switch dates and we will coordinate the schedule change.
We had a short discussion about the trigger warnings, everyone really appreciated Jill’s sensitivity and willingness to be so accommodating. I explained that when reading a story with trigger warnings, if anyone in the group had issues with the trigger areas, then those areas aren’t read aloud. If the author has questions about someone’s critique comments (if provided), they can exchange emails to discuss.
We will be posting updated guidelines soon to include the new information about trigger warnings and schedule changes.
Michaele is taking a short family leave from the meetings, but will continue to provide written critiques.
Sherry C. and her cozy mystery, TIME’S UP FOR FATHER TIME, remain in the query trenches. She has a full request out on submission.
Nancy is out of the reading rotation as she’s on a hiatus to take Mark Sevi’s Scriptwriting Class.
