Meeting Notes:
In the Critique Coop: Leslie read an extensive rewrite of the first part of her upmarket literary fiction, GHOST DOG. Sherry read chapter 3 of her cozy mystery, TIME’S UP FOR FATHER TIME, plus two flash fiction: WHAT CHICKENS ARE MADE OF and MORNING COFFEE IN THE GARDEN. Six members: Karen W., Leslie P., Lisa W., Michaele B., Nancy K., and Sherry C. Meetings are held every Wednesday via Zoom starting at 6:30 p.m.

Nancy Klann is spearheading the Southern California Writers Association’s new Anthology with a Gastronomy Twist—flash fiction short stories, poems, quips (250 words or less), and an added recipe. Visit the Call for Submission on the SCWA website for details. Deadline for entry: September 30, 2020.
